The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work at Central Michigan University invites applications for temporary faculty to teach part or full time in Anthropology or Sociology, beginning August 2011.
Applicants must include a cover letter, a CV, and names of at least two references. The cover letter should specify introductory courses in sociology and/or anthropology (four subfields), that the applicant is prepared to teach. Minimum requirements include Master’s degree and evidence of progress toward the PhD. Previous teaching experience, and evidence of teaching effectiveness, is preferred.
